S T O R Y T I M E
Go do something that takes you outside of your comfort zone! Channel that inner childlike playfulness and make snow angels with your partner! When I originally asked if they'd like to do a couples shoot in the snow, one said “no” and the other said “yes”, and as you can see, the one who said “no” probably had the most fun ever because they said “yes” to adventure! “Yes” to being uncomfortable for a moment but having a lifetime of memories made with the love of their life. They both reflected afterwards that that was probably the first time they had ever made a snow angel as an adult! How crazy fun!? The other fun story about this session that made it all the more inviting to go do while it was a literal snow globe outside…was that this was all in our backyard!!!

A toast 🥂, I mean a spray to love! 😆
I love seeing how each couple reacts to spraying their first champagne bottle together. It happens so quickly, you can see a lot of different emotions that come out in just seconds. Which reaction is your favorite? Personally giggling at slide two. 😉

W H A T & W H O
I’ve been getting the question a lot lately, “what do you like to shoot?” or “what do you prefer to photograph?” There are some photographers out there who have found their niche in photography, and either stick to just weddings or lifestyle. I have found that I do love capturing anything and anyone that has to do with love and life. If you’re breathing, I’d love to photograph that! People living and changing the atmosphere with just their existence! Of course I’d like to work with individuals who have a positive outlook on life, who try to see the good in the small and ordain, BUT I’m even more passionate about serving people who need a little boost in life. Needs affirmation through words and through a new outlook on themselves through my lens. I’m humbled to be invited into some solemn moments that end up turning brighter because they now have a treasured memory to have and to hold in the gift of a photo. It’s a gift to witness change through my lens for the better or for the worse. We are all going through seasons that are changing and shaping us. Sometimes it might feel vulnerable to have someone come into those seasons of change for documentation sake, but I’ve never heard an utter of regret from anyone’s lips for doing so.
Photography truly is a gift to the eye and to the heart.

Y O U R T H O U G H T S
One of the hardest parts about my job as a photographer is probably the social media part. Creating, posting, and writing descriptions!!!! Like, oh my word, the most daunting part hands down, is trying to figure out what I want to say when posting. Sometimes…(cough cough, majority of the time), I don’t want to write anything, I just want to post a beautiful photo.

O U R T A T T O O S
I love getting asked what our tattoo means when people can’t guess the “143” part. After watching Mr. Rogers documentary together, we loved how 143 was Mr. & Mrs. Rogers lucky numbers and carried the meaning of “I love you”. One letter in “I”, four letters in “love”, and three letters in “you”. All together it means I love you, everyday, all day long. And now it’s completed with one of our favorite songs and the remembrance of our honeymoon spent in Italy five years ago come October. That’s amore!
