I love exploring color, detail, and a little bit of magic across every medium. Since childhood, I have loved to create things and explore the world around me. Art is something that has always been a constant in my life. Taking portraits of clients and creating paintings are some of my favorite ways to satisfy my artistic hunger. Over the years, I’ve learned that there is a very beneficial relation
ship between my photography and the art I create. My photography betters my art, and my art definitely makes my photography stronger. Photography satisfies my impatient side and my need for immediate results, whereas my art allows me to be intricate and demands patience. In addition to showcasing photography on this page, I share the hand-painted turtle shells I work on. My grandmother on my father's side was 100% Oneida. I am a quarter Oneida. While growing up, my dad occasionally told me bits and pieces about Oneida culture. The sacredness of the turtle came up multiple times. The turtle also represents one of Oneida Nation's three clans. Turtle people are responsible for the environment. When it comes to photography, I have a passion for creating harmony amongst organic landscapes and my subjects, therefore all my portraiture sessions are shot outdoors. I like to incorporate movement into my photographs, so I often ask my clients to act scenes out. For example, I will ask a family to walk toward the camera, holding hands while trying to make each other laugh. My goal is to capture authentic moments laced with emotion. I offer the following sessions: family, engagement, couples, children and infants, individuals and pets/animals. I do not offer wedding photography at this time. Please send me a message or email me at [email protected] for prices and availability. I'm elated to be able to share pieces of my imagination, creativity and attention to detail with you!
