Friday was a good day that was capped off with this wolf. She was in the tree line feeding on a buffalo carcass as we arrived to the scene, just before she wandered out of the trees to get a drink from the river before wandering back into the woods.

The bizarre pairing of "Fritter" the 4 year old of "Blondie" and the 2 year old boar of 610 that was recently relocated after getting into some trouble. These two were both laying around when we came across them on Friday morning before they started wandering along the hill side before crossing the road and disappearing into the trees.

Birds of all types are definitely one of my favorite things to photograph because of the challenge that they present when ever they take flight. This Great Grey Owl definitely managed to give me a test as I was trying to keep up with it eveeytime it decided that it was time to move to a different tree.

It is not very often you get the opportunity to observe these "ghost of the forest" so when you do get the chance to see them it is something special. This Great Gray was fun to photograph. Fortunately I had access to a camera today as I did not have my own equipment with me since the plan for today did not involve any photo opportunity. Thank you for letting me use your extra camera

With the busy life of getting ready for our wedding, it has made it difficult to get out and shoot. So with it getting closer to the time of year we will start to see these little creatures (blue bird) again I figure its a good opportunity to post this little guy from last spring.

Dec. 26, 2020.
#399 and cubs are still out enjoying the winter weather.
This may seem confusing for several people as bears would normally be hibernating by now, however; it is common for these creatures to delay or even bypass hibernation all together as long as there is a sustainable food source. Bears will also leave and return to their den during the winter while they are supposed to be in the metabolic state of hibernation if there is a food source.
So in the case of 399 and her cubs as long as there are still gut piles from the deprivation hunt we will have the possibility of seeing them wondering around this winter wonder land.
