On March 4th, I had the opportunity to check something else off my bucket list.

The USWNT was at -Gro Field for the SheBelieves Cup against Canada. The US came up on top 1-0 with the only goal by Ally Sentnor.

This was my first professional soccer match for 2026 and can't wait for more this year.

For the past five years I photographed three girls soccer State Finals and most recently one girls basketball State Final. I watched many of these athletes compete as freshmen and later return as seniors on the biggest stage.

From behind the camera I saw the full story. The energy. The pressure. The celebration. The heartbreak. These athletes carry a level of focus and toughness few people understand.

I never reached this stage as a player. Standing on the sideline with a camera gave a different view. Each game showed the work these athletes put in during the offseason, the regular season, and the postseason.

I do not have family on these teams. Still, after following many of these athletes for years, the connection feels real. The losses hurt. The tough moments stay with you. The journey creates the memories.

My goal stays simple. Capture moments athletes and families look back on years later. A photo brings back the work, the teammates, and the atmosphere from those nights.

Thank you to the Ottawa-Glandorf community and the OG Lady Titans Basketball program for the opportunity to document these moments. Your support means a lot.

I had the opportunity to create senior collages for three basketball players at Liberty-Benton High School.

Senior year goes fast. These collages give each athlete something lasting to look back on. I focused on keeping the designs clean and centered on who they are as players.

It was an honor and a privilege to create a poster for Liberty Benton’s first All American.

Senior Aiden Hatch earned this recognition at the end of 2025. During halftime of the LBHS boys basketball game, he was recognized in front of fans, coaches, and family. Being part of that moment meant a lot to me.

My goal was to create a poster that felt unique and showed his emotion and intensity. The hardest part was choosing the photos that told his story the right way. 😉
