The Old Treehouse!

It started out as just a wood base in the tree and we used our pop up ground blinds on top. Then over the years we have added more and more to it from scrap pieces of wood to try and make it more comfortable as the kids started hunting during the cold days of late season.

It doesn’t look like much and nothing fancy but the time spent and the memories made building it in the summers and hunting out of it each season are priceless!

Next weekend we will be tearing this old stand down and replacing it with a much better built and much warmer stand. Things change over time and it will be nice having the comfort of the new stand but I think I am always going to miss the days of the Old Treehouse!
