I would love to photograph more at the sand dunes (couples especially!) There is something so captivating about golden hour there. The fire of the sand meeting the cool shadows. It's such a cool contrast.

Hiiii! I'm Kati!
I'm a wedding and portrait photographer in Fernley, Nevada, specializing in engagement and wedding photography amid the wide-open desert skies and sagebrush that stretches on for miles. Raised in nearby Reno, I know Northern Nevada and love capturing its beauty in every portrait and wedding story.
I’m a wife, a mom, and an avid reader who can get lost in a book faster than I can finish a cup of coffee. I’m also the most extroverted introvert you’ll ever meet.
I picked up my first camera at fifteen and something just clicked (no pun intended. Maybe.) Back then, I swore I was going to work for National Geographic, hopping on planes to wild places and meeting strangers who carried stories in their eyes and dust on their shoes. I pictured jungles, oceans, mountain tops, all with a camera slung over my shoulder and a sense of wildness.
Life shifted though. Instead of trekking across continents, I found something just as (if not more) special right here at home. I get to meet real people in familiar places, share laughter in backyards and wide-open fields, and witness tiny moments that matter so much. It turns out I didn’t need to cross the globe to find incredible humans with beautiful stories. They were nearby all along.
