Hi y’all!!

It’s been a while…life has been a little bit crazy. I have always centered my business on transparency + positivity, so if you have messaged me the last few months - Im so sorry! Life happens sometimes, I hope you understand. I have had a ton of behind the scenes weddings and sessions and I am sooooooo ready to pursue my passion again. 😥☺️

A little update for you…my little assistant that seems to get everyone laughing was graduated to big brother! What a RIDE it has been. I can’t wait to tell you all about it. I am so blessed to be these two amazing babies momma. 🥰 Don’t worry we’re still all the same here - although little man has gotta teach assistant #2 the ropes. He definitely has some big shoes to fill, but I’m confident his big brother can ensure he knows how to help get babies to smile (he’s kinda an expert at that) 😜.

I’m still a sucker for chasing the sun, so per usual we’ll most likely need a little bug spray on our sessions. With all that being said let’s do what we do best and dance to music, laugh, let me give your doggy treats, and explore together. ☺️

they didn't let the rain damper their moods - it turned out to be a completely perfect day. in fact, I think the rain made these even better. 😊
I feel so blessed they chose and trusted ME with their most treasured day of their lives.

I can hardly believe that it's already been one week since these two absolutely amazing humans said I Do. Although it rained most of the day, that did not stop it from being the absolute most perfect and beautiful wedding. I am humbled that they chose me to capture their special day for them. ❤

This is Pat and Jean. Jean is the planner, whether it’s a simple bike ride or a trip across the world - she’s always up to something. Pat’s the the guy who’s up for anything - which is why they work out so well. Their favorite place to go is Arizona with their two kids, taking them on hiking excursions. They have a family motto - go big or go home…but in Jean’s words “if you go big…go a little extra”. It may seem like they live crazy lives - they do. They’ve devoted to keeping God in the center of their lives and pray often together, which helps keep them grounded, what keeps it all into place.

I bet you know them as the owners of Dairyland - a staple to fergus falls and the otter tail county area. They bought the place back in 1996. But I’ll bet you don’t know the story about how they met, you should ask them. It’s a great one. They’ve employed over 600 kids since 1996 and their most favorite thing is seeing their ‘veteran’ kids come back - watching them go out and live their lives and getting to meet their families.

I want to remind them that they’ve impacted so many people’s lives. Shaped so many young guys and gals into the people they’ve become today. They touch so many people wherever they go, whether it’s at a random trail in AZ, the kids they employ, or the town they serve we are all grateful for them. They’re pretty special to us and I don’t think they even realize it.

I just wanted to thank all my clients for being patient with me!!! Life has been crazy lately. I also work a full time job and am a mom to a very active 3 year old, so you can imagine it gets quite busy around here! Thank you for being so understanding!

Can we just pause for a moment and appreciate how GORGEOUS this mother and her children are?

When I first moved back to MN from North Carolina, I was completely unsure what to expect. But I did what I had to do. Most of time it was just little man and I. I started running my friends coffee shop for a little while to help me get my bearings and to give her a much needed break. This meant 90% of the time he was helping me hand out straws, he was the epitome of greeting the customer with a smile. Serving coffee, scheduling photography clients, editing sessions, location scouting, and all the in-between. Most of the time with him strapped to my back. We just did what we had to do.

Things are a lot better now, but I still might show up to your session with a toddler on my back. 🤷‍♀️

Whether it's him giving you silly faces, helping make the babies smile (he's really good at that), or asking "what's that" continuously while at our session - He's a little bit more sassy these days, but he has always made the best assistant.
