As I wrap up the Class of 2026 season, I just wanted to take a moment and say…this year has been especially meaningful because I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many inspiring, talented, and remarkable seniors. Each of you has left an impact on me in different ways. Through your kindness, resilience, humor, and the unique energy - getting to know you has been one of the greatest gifts of my life!
What makes this year even more significant is that it marks 10 years since I graduated from high school. Reaching that milestone has brought a wave of nostalgia and has made me feel especially connected to the Class of 2026. Watching y’all navigate your final year has reminded me so much of my own senior year. I remember the excitement of making unforgettable memories and soaking in every moment, while also worrying what life would look like after graduation.
I remember senior year feeling both blissful and terrifying. There was so much joy in the friendships, traditions, and memories being made, but there was also uncertainty about what came next. Looking back now, I realize those mixed emotions were all part of the journey.
To the Class of 2026: enjoy these moments. Take the pictures, spend time with your friends, be present, and appreciate the little things that will one day become your favorite memories. And if you’re feeling nervous about what comes after high school, know that that’s completely normal!!!
Everything is going to be okay. Trust yourself, embrace the opportunities ahead, make new friends, stay in touch with your friends from childhood, and know that some of the best chapters of your life are still waiting to be written. Congratulations, Class of 2026!!!! You have so much to be proud of, and I’m so excited to see where life takes you next!!! Stay in touch, I love catching up with my seniors 🥹💗
