Yesterday was one of those days I’ll never forget.

As a photographer, I get the privilege of documenting some of the most important moments in people’s lives. But yesterday was different. Yesterday, I had the honor of standing behind my camera while my best friend married the love of her life.

I’ve watched her through the heartbreaks, the lessons, the “maybe he’s the one” moments, and all the chapters that led her here. To see her walk into a love that is steady, genuine, and everything she deserves was emotional in a way I wasn’t prepared for.

There were so many moments throughout the day where I had to remind myself to keep taking photos and stop tearing up behind the camera.

Amber, watching you grow into the woman you are today has been such a gift. You have loved people fiercely, overcome more than most will ever know, and never stopped believing that your person was out there. And then John came along.

Thank you for trusting me to capture a day that meant so much not only to you, but to me as well. It was beautiful, emotional, and full of the kind of love that reminds you what marriage is really about.
