Something people don’t always realize about me right away— I’m actually a pretty big geek. It’s usually a running joke when my husband and I meet new people. Everyone assumes he’s the one who introduced me to that world… when in reality, I may be the bigger fan between the two of us.

Back when I designed wedding stationery, I loved creating pieces inspired by favorite stories and fandoms, but in a way that still felt timeless and elegant. At first glance, they looked like classic wedding invitations. It was only in the smallest details, subtle illustrations, hidden references, or meaningful wording, that you realized there was something more woven into the design.

I think that’s why I still love discovering thoughtful little “Easter eggs” tucked into wedding days now. The most meaningful details are often the quiet ones, the ones that feel personal without needing to announce themselves.

I’ve always believed the details are where a wedding story begins. With my background in stationery, it probably comes as no surprise that I absolutely love styling flat lay details.

To me, these pieces are the beginning of the story. The first glimpse into the feeling and tone of a wedding day, and just like every other detail, they deserve to be remembered beautifully.

I especially love incorporating florals into flat lays, but sometimes flowers aren’t available early enough in the day… or there simply aren’t extras to work with. That’s part of what inspired me to create these Floral Styling Accents for .

While nothing truly replaces fresh florals, these pieces add a soft, romantic element that brings movement and texture to a flat lay in such a timeless way. I’ve been especially loving the elegance they bring to stationery details lately. 💕

Motherhood is such a beautiful chapter, one that so often follows the beginning of a wedding day.

Getting to photograph my couples as they step into this season of life is always such a gift to me.

These images feel especially meaningful: a dear friend and JTP bride, now a mother, in a season that feels both tender and strong. As a mother myself, I spent yesterday soaking in time with family instead of being online… but today, I’m celebrating all the mothers and the beauty of this season. 💕
