I have put this official announcement off because I cannot compose my words without crying (spoiler alert: I’m still crying while I type this). Here it is:

After a decade of photographing the most amazing clients, the time has come to close this chapter of my life. I will be retiring my camera and stepping away to have more time with my family and more time for traveling.

In the last decade, I have cried a river of tears for my clients. I have witnessed and documented life’s most precious moments and some of life’s hardest. From weddings, newborns, families, end of life sessions, engagements, and so much more, I am eternally grateful.

My love for photography was always outshined for my love of people and serving my clients. I mean it when I say that my clients and their families and friends were the best part of my job. YOU are what kept me going and I love you all!

Thank you to those who chose me, trusted me, and loved me back! Each of you has a place in my heart forever and always!

To the vendors who become friends, I love you! I am so grateful for the wedding community in both Memphis and NWA. Only you know what it takes to make a perfect wedding for our clients and I will always love sharing that with you! (MORE)

Kate and Matt had the most beautiful stationary. I love when a stationary FEELS like the couple. And I love being able to style it like that. The magnolia leaves and foraged petals perfectly complimented Kate’s bouquet as well as their love of nature.

This flat lay is also dear to my heart! I was 36 weeks pregnant, the baby had dropped (literally that day). was my talented and wonderful second shooter who also foraged the beautiful petals. was the wonderful planner who ran over the florals so I didn’t have to walk up and down more flights of stairs. Trying to both make petals look perfectly placed organically is not an easy feat and we laughed while sprinkling little petals all around the canvas. It’s such a small thing but it’s extra special when you love who you get to work with and love who you get to photograph!
