Hey Hey, Happy Monday!
We had a weekend full of baby bellies and I’m SO excited to share from those sessions!
Also…guess what’s coming in 60 days 👀
The annual cake smash sale in August in celebration of my birthday! I have a bucket list of cake smash themes to choose from- it’s going to be fun!!
Other than that, we are still booking sunflower sessions as well as meeting up at the beach for the rest of the season.

Though it’s getting warmer, late summer evenings in NC are so dreamy! It’s normally cooler after 6PM and everything is luscious and green.

Happy Monday, friends ☀️

Starting the week off with this sweet girl, who was an absolute doll for her newborn session. One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to watch families grow over the years. I had the honor of photographing her big brother’s newborn photos, and now here we are documenting the newest addition to their family. It never gets old.

Recently, someone asked me if there have ever been babies I couldn’t soothe or get to sleep during a session. The answer is yes—sometimes! While it’s rare that we can’t settle a little one, some babies experience things like reflux or tummy discomfort and simply need a little extra patience. Thankfully, patience is basically my middle name!

And honestly? Sometimes babies are just wide awake. When that happens, we roll with it. Some of my favorite images come from alert little babies staring right into the camera, taking in the world around them. Every baby is different, and part of my job is meeting them exactly where they are.

Whether your baby sleeps the entire session or spends it wide-eyed and curious, we’ll create beautiful memories together. 🤍

The night before they became husband and wife, we wandered through the heart of Beaufort, North Carolina, chasing the last bit of evening light.

There was so much laughter. The kind that comes easy when you’re with your favorite person.
The next day, C + M promised each other forever, but getting to photograph them the night before their wedding felt just as special as documenting the most important day of their lives.
What a joy it was to celebrate alongside them!

A little evening Tuesday post ✨
I am so glad summer is finally here. The spring season was busy in the best way, and looking ahead at all the sessions, weddings, and families I get to photograph this summer has me feeling really grateful.
Lately, I’ve found myself drawn more and more to newborn sessions that focus less on perfect posing and more on family connection. The way a new baby fits into mom’s arms, the way dad looks at them, the tiny details that already feel impossible to forget.
This sweet studio newborn session was all about that.
Simple, cozy, baby-led portraits with a focus on the people who love this little one most. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s preserving what these first couple of months actually felt like.
I’m so thankful families continue to trust me with such an important season of life.
Summer is filling up quickly, and I can’t wait to meet all the new babies coming my way. 🤍

Back from vacay, sun-kissed, recharged, and ready to roll into summer sessions ☀️

This week already has me so excited with a wedding in Beaufort, an engagement session in Raleigh, a milestone session in the studio, and a maternity session in the studio. I’m so thankful for every family and couple trusting me to tell their story this season.

Also a little reminder — beach minis only have ONE date left that hasn’t sold out yet for June 26 & 27 🌊
