Number one Fearless Family Photographer in the World! Feels weird saying that... But I'm super proud of this one. Mostly because the majority of the awarded images are taken from the personal work with my own family. It's work I'm not paid to create, but simply do for the love of the craft and so me, Chasnie, and our kids have images to look back on to remember this crazy life of ours!

But I'm also proud that some family documentary client work is featured in this set of images. I wish more families embraced the chaos of real life and chose to pass those memories down to their kids and future grandkids. Hopefully I'll see more of those families in 2023 🤗

One day, you’re building the same blanket fort you’ve built every day for months, and the next day your toddler turns into a child and never wants to build another fort again. Every day, the things we cherish fade away.

You never make the decision to stop reading stories before bed, or to quit puddle-splashing, bed-jumping, NERF gun-warring…
