One of the things I hear from dads before a session is:
"I'm only doing this because she asked me to."
And almost every single time, they're the ones flipping through the images afterward, pointing out their favorites, and talking about which ones they want hanging on the wall.
As parents, we spend so much time documenting our children that it's easy to forget how important it is to be in the photographs with them.
The way your little one wraps their arms around your neck.
The way they look at you when you're laughing together.
The way they fit perfectly in your arms right now.
These are the moments your children will treasure one day—but they're also moments you'll want to hold onto for yourself.
Dad doesn't need to love having his picture taken to appreciate having these memories preserved.
Years from now, these photographs become more than images. They become reminders of bedtime stories, backyard adventures, tiny hands reaching for yours, and a season of life that passes far too quickly.
So dads, this is your reminder: get in the frame.
I promise these photographs will mean just as much to you as they do to the rest of your family. ❤️
