Hot. Dry. Dusty. Those were the conditions that greeted riders as they tackled distances of 20, 50, and 100 kilometers.

This was our fourth year covering the race and can’t thank Mason, Dan, and the team enough for having us back.

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to cover the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival again this year.

Dave and I shot nearly 30k frames over the course of two days and 14 races.

Riders were flying on the first stage of the Eureka Springs Enduro.

The sun also made an appearance on an otherwise overcast and rainy day. It was fun playing with the light coming through the pine trees.

On Saturday we had the opportunity to try our hand at something new…motocross.

Thanks to Andrea at Ascot Park MX for having out to cover Round 7 of the Saturday Night Thunder Championship Series.

We couldn’t get over how everyone welcomed us and were very impressed with the motocross community.

Dave and I can’t wait to get back out there and do it again!!

And a huge congratulations goes out to the Women’s winner, Hope Esperanza Anderson, Men’s winner, Tommy zula and the other riders who qualified for the world championship in Beijing, China.

We were also amazed by all the other riders, young and old, big and small, who braved the hundred degree heat to compete in the various age categories.
