A little update from Honeybee Portraits 🤍
After seeing the recent rulings and conversations surrounding AI-generated images involving children, I’ve made a decision that I feel incredibly strongly about.
Going forward, I will no longer be posting identifiable images of children’s faces on my public business page.
As a photographer, I’m trusted with some of the most precious pieces of your lives. Your babies. Your families. Your memories. And with AI evolving as quickly as it is, I simply don’t feel comfortable putting a child’s face onto a public platform where I cannot control how that image may be saved, scraped, altered, or used.
This may mean you see more little hands, tiny details, silhouettes, backs of heads, blurred faces, or images where your babies simply aren’t identifiable when I share family sessions. And honestly, I’m completely okay with that.
You will still receive your beautiful, complete galleries just as you always have. This only changes what I choose to share publicly through my business.
No photograph or social media post is worth compromising a child’s privacy or safety.
I can’t control everything that happens on the internet, but I can control what I contribute to it. And I will do everything within my power to protect the children and families who are trusted to my camera. 🤍
Their memories belong to their families first. Always.
