Absolutely incredible. Never in my 39 years of life living in the Appalachian Mountains have I seen a fire of this magnitude. Close to 8,000 acres of forest burned. Luckily, the fire is located in the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests so no residences are nearby. But it is an absolutely incredible sight to drive there at night and see the mountains ablaze.
