Motherhood has softened me and strengthened me all at once.
It’s changed the way I move through the world. The way I notice light. The way I pay attention to the small in-between moments that once felt insignificant, but now feel like everything.
now more than ever, I understand just how fleeting life really is.
How quickly tiny hands grow. How fast seasons pass. How photographs quietly preserve the memories time tries to take with it.
Motherhood has made me a better storyteller because it’s taught me to notice. To slow down. To hold onto the moments that otherwise slip by unnoticed. And I carry that perspective into every wedding day I document now, not just photographing how it looked, but truly how it felt.
And somehow, in the middle of all of that, I get to carry life’s greatest blessing on my hip. 🤍🥹
To all the mothers out there- Happy Mother’s Day. This work is beautiful, exhausting, sanctifying, and so often unseen. But it matters deeply.
Cheers to us. 🤍
