Last week I had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2026 Rugby Photographer of the Year Awards hosted at Twickenham stadium in the World Rugby Museum! Traveling to England to see my shortlisted entry included in this exhibit was an experience I still cannot fully comprehend. I'm beyond thankful to have met so many incredible photographers, and cannot thank everyone from Rugby Journal Magazine enough for this opportunity & incredible night ❤️🏉

A few years ago, I picked up my camera and started photographing UMF Womens Rugby after a knee injury kept me off the field. Little did I know that a few years later, it would lead to an opportunity like this.

A few days ago, I found out that one of my images has been shortlisted for Rugby Journal Magazine Rugby Photographer of the Year 2026!!

Next week, I'll be heading to London for the awards ceremony at the World Rugby Museum, where my photo will be on display as part of the exhibit in Allianz Stadium. Being shortlisted among so many incredible photographers is an honor I never imagined, and I'm so excited to be a part of it!

I'm beyond excited to be shortlisted for the rugby photographer of the year! Thank you so much to The Rugby journal for this honor. It feels unreal to be alongside so many incredibly talented photographers!
