As we step into a new year, I’m feeling called to slow down.

This season isn’t about packing my calendar or saying yes to every session that comes my way. It’s about intention over volume. Fewer sessions. More presence. More space to truly see you, to follow your children’s lead, to let moments unfold naturally instead of rushing through them.

I want every session to feel unhurried and meaningful—where laughter lingers, emotions are felt fully, and connection is at the center of everything we create together. The kind of images that don’t just show what this season looked like, but what it felt like.

For those of you that haven’t heard my sister’s story, it’s an unbelievable one. She’s been so incredibly strong during this time and to say I’m proud of her is an understatement. you are a warrior. You’ve shown such strength and faith in God and I admire the resilience you’ve upheld through this journey. I love you so much 🥹

Here’s her story:

9 weeks ago I went into premature labor at only 20 weeks gestation. After being admitted to L&D, we were told I would deliver our babies lifeless and there was nothing that could be done because they weren’t viable...
But God.
Due to complications with past pregnancies, I’m considered too high risk for hemorrhaging and infections and I was already 2cm dilated, contracting and bleeding. Every doctor and MFM did not think the cerclage I needed would work considering all the risk factors. We were told even if they did the surgery, there were just too many risks. Going by faith, we still pushed for the surgery and thankfully two MMs agreed and by that time, I was 5cm dilated and twin A was halfway through my cervix. The surgery was successful but twin As water broke resulting in staying in the hospital until I deliver.
Now, here we are at 29+2 with 2 very active babies with strong and healthy heartbeats. Every hard day, tears and prayers have been worth every moment.
