A quiet season doesn’t always mean a stagnant one.
For the past year, I’ve been a little quieter here—and I wanted to finally share why.
Last May, I began photographing newborns in a hospital setting on the weekends. While I wasn’t able to share that work publicly, it was a season filled with growth, learning, and moments that will stay with me forever.
I walked into hundreds of rooms, met countless families, celebrated brand-new life, and sometimes held space during incredibly tender moments. It challenged me, stretched me, and strengthened my confidence in ways I’m deeply grateful for.
Today marks the end of that chapter. After a lot of reflection, I made the difficult decision to step away from this role for personal reasons. I’m incredibly thankful for the experience and the people I worked alongside.
As I move into this next chapter, I’m stepping forward with more experience, more confidence, and an even greater love for newborn photography. Thank you for being here, even during the quieter seasons 🤍

Last week I shared a picture of the back of my camera of this hawk that flew over me while I was in the middle of a photo shoot.........check out the real thing! I was not ready for this(settings wise) but thankfully I at least had my 300mm lens on one of my cameras so I was able to get these shots even though he was SO far away! My girl Evey is 6 months old today! She is spoiled rotton and the new little princess in the house so of course a 1/2 birthday photo shoot was in order.
