Our Story

Hello, I am Angela! I was born here in Farmington and graduated from Aztec High School in 2002. I am happily married to a Navy Veteran, whom I met on Myspace while he was stationed in Japan. WHOA! Myspace!?! What happened to that? lol. Lonny (my husband) was medically retired from the US Navy in 2009 and we were married a few months later. We have four boys, NO girls! Their ages stretch from teens to toddlers. As you can imagine, I am totally spoiled in this house of all boys! We moved to Lubbock for 1 year, from 2013 to 2014, where I learned so much and met great people who helped me grow as a photographer. My husband is from the Houston, TX area, so we do travel there at least 1 to 2 times a year, when possible. We sure do love our Texans! I have a big heart for animals and I LOVE to photograph them, as well as people, duh! Right? lol. Things I also love is: Taking road trips! Exploring new things and places with my family. Music, I mostly listen to christian but I love the 90's! Photo props, OMG I am obsessed!! Vintage suitcases are my soft spot, I literally have more than I can count on both of my hands, lol.

Photography!! I have played in the photography field my entire life, taking classes in school and worked at a studio straight out of high school. I believe photographs are SO important in life! It gives your children and grandchildren something to hold onto for THEIR entire lives. This is also why I offer digital images, as well as, prints with each of my packages. I want to make sure you have something to hold in your hands, that cannot get lost in the digital world!! Join me in creating a life time of memories!!

I photograph in the Farmington, NM area. I specialize in photographing families, sports, weddings, events and more. I began my photography business in 2012. I photographed outdoors and did studio work out of my home. January 2018, I opened my studio in the Hutton Plaza on 20th street. I wanted to give everyone a great place to get photographs at anytime of the year, no matter what our crazy New Mexico weather was doing. Still offered are outdoor sessions, as well as indoor sessions, at my studio located at 2501 E. 20th St, STE 8 in Farmington, NM. As of, April 2018, I purchased "Sherrie's Studio". I then merged all of their inventory with mine on 20th Street.

Angela Brumley Photography is in the Hutton Plaza, Sherrie's Studio, which was on Main Street, is no longer there. I know this will be an adjustment for most of my clients that are merging over from "Sherrie's Studio" but we will get through this together. Promise!
