It's scary work. You've had your beliefs for decades. They're your close friends.
No one likes to lose friends.
THAT IS WHY WEIGHT LOSS CAN SEEM SO HARD!!!
Beliefs are hard to change. But they can be easy to change too.

Right now, I'm working on, "Sugar is NOT a treat."
For decades, I believed that sugar was a treat. It meant celebration, date night, birthdays, Christmas, how I destressed, and more!
Right now, my husband's uncle is in hospice from complications from diabetes.
His days are numbered and he is waiting to die.
He, too, believed that sugar was important.
He loved his sugar; therefore, he didn't mange his diabetes.
I don't want to die like that or live like that.
Diabetes is devastating.
Sugar is not the real treat. My life is the real treat.
Yes, I still eat ice cream.
I just don't have to have sugar in order to have a good time or to treat myself.
