This eagle has just caught a fish, moments before sunrise...and a big one, at that! There was even a bit of a struggle, and a brief break on a rock to regain it's compusure.
But moments later, this bird was gracefully swooping away, and even its killer beak looked peaceful for a fleeting moment...reflecting on its success.

Two years ago I tried my hand at recreating some of Norman Rockwell's paintings with my son and our dog, Jaxxy.
We try to pick images that match the age he's at, and if we have things in the house that resemble the ones in Rockwell's work, well then, all the better!
This "Rockwell Recreation," 2022 is 'Boy and dog snuggled in blanket,' 1939.
