I had a really fun time running around downtown Detroit with Lauren and Aaron for the engagement session! We started at the Fisher Building, then stopped by the DIA before heading to Parker's Alley.

Their September wedding will be day one of my three day wedding weekend coming up this year (why did I do that to myself 😅). My 2024 calendar is completely full and I'm so grateful to have booked so many wonderful couples this year!!

I have a lot of engagement sessions coming up and a TON of weddings this year, and I can't wait to share so many stories with you all. ❤

Savannah and Tim had the SWEETEST Valentine's Day themed engagement session! This was my first time visiting Sharp Farm and I literally cannot wait to go back. Seriously, there's still time, who wants Valentine's Day portraits?!

I'm always excited for my couples and can't wait for their wedding day to get here, but I get extra excited when we vibe really well. And Savannah and Tim really just feel like good, down to earth people that you can just chill with.

Even though the snow was melting quickly and it was a bit of a muddy mess for us to walk around in, we all had a really good time together and I'm so excited for their wedding day.

I always love going to Matthaei Botanical Gardens and I'm so happy Kristen & Roger decided on this spot for their engagement session. It was just starting to snow as we finished up our session, which was a fair trade since the sun was not willing to show up for golden hour!

Can't wait to watch these two tie the knot in August! ❤

Check out this little sneak peek from Rachel and Tyler's engagement session! While we were waiting for Downtown Rochester's lights to come on, we did some exploring and found our way to the Royal Park Hotel - which had the PRETTIEST little Holiday setup inside the lobby. We ended the night at Rachel and Tyler's favorite coffee shop, Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters.

JADE + CHAD

I really cannot say enough nice things about this couple. They booked me somewhat last minute, after their original photographer was unable to continue with them, and it really felt like destiny. They are just so sweet - to each other, to their families, to Scott and I, and I feel very blessed to have been part of their absolutely magical day.

I think because I'm such an easy going person, I tend to get along with my bride and groom's families. But sometimes, I really connect with them and just want to see them again and spend time with them. That was definitely the case with both Chad and Jade's parents. They were all just so warm and loving and incredibly HAPPY to see their children thriving. And Jade's moms were a BLAST. I literally asked them to adopt me before I left, lol.

This was my last wedding of the year and it was a really, really good one. I love weddings that have so many smiling faces. Seeing people in love and being surrounded by love makes so incredibly happy. It is good for my soul and it continuously pushes me to be the best version of myself, and it's why I love what I do. I hope you all enjoy these photos as much as I do!

Kara + Emanuel

I know I've been slacking on the social media lately, but I just HAD to share this wedding preview with y'all!

I hope you enjoy all the class and elegance this wedding has to offer. Because there's a lot of it! I tried to shoot every photo like it was in a magazine spread, because I know that's what Kara wanted. And it was pretty easy to do since the girl is GORGEOUS. Emanuel was also killing it. This whole day was such a vibe! ✨

From the flowers to the decor set up to all the endless shimmer and shine - this was easily one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever seen. And the bride and groom are such genuine and loving people. They truly deserve all the love and happiness that surrounded them on this day. And there really was a ton of love surrounding them. It was such a pleasure getting to know their families and getting a small taste of the richness of Albanian culture.
