You’re not who you were… but you’re not fully who you’re going to be either.

And that’s the magic of it.

One day, she’ll look back at these images and see the spark in her eyes.
The confidence building.
The independence settling in.

Not just how she looked
but who she was becoming.

This isn’t about a milestone.
It’s about a moment in the middle of the story.

And those deserve to be documented too.

Meet Haylee 📸 I had a headshot session with the sweetest young woman who is about to graduate with a degree in musical theatre and she came in knowing exactly what she wanted.

She’s been on stage for years, so being in front of a camera felt natural to her. And yes… that kind of comfort shows. When someone trusts themselves, the lens feels it. The images feel it.

But here’s what I love most: confidence isn’t just something you’re born with. Sometimes it comes from experience. Sometimes it comes from preparation. And sometimes it grows during the session itself.

Whether you walk in bold and stage-ready or a little unsure, my job is the same — to help you feel solid, grounded, and fully yourself in front of the camera.

This next chapter is going to look really good on her.

Sometimes the magic happens in the moment. This outfit wasn’t planned for the shoot—it had been sitting in my closet for months. When I saw her, I knew instantly she was the perfect person to wear it.

Photography isn’t always about meticulous planning. Sometimes the vibe, the mood, or the energy of the day inspires us to improvise—and that’s when the most authentic, striking images happen.

Merry Christmas, everyone! A it This year has been a whirlwind, and if l've been a little quieter here, it's because I've been leaning into a much-needed season of stillness.

To be honest, the uncertainty of the world lately has been scary. Between the weight of global worries and the fast paced hustle of running a business, I found myself overworked and constantly distracted. I was always thinking about the next shoot or the next deadline, and I realized I was missing the very life I was working so hard to build.

I needed to step away from the noise to take care of myself (mentally and physically)and to put my health first for a change.

This break allowed me to finally have more time with my husband and my two boys. Instead of rushing, I've been able to focus on my son's journey on the spectrum and simply enjoy being a mom to both my kids.

Stepping back has completely changed my perspective on everything. It taught me the importance of being kind to one another and the power of a slower pace.

I'm so grateful for the people I've met and the opportunities I've had to share my love of photography this year. Thank you for staying with me while I refilled my cup. I'm feeling healthy, grounded, and so excited to get back into the swing of things in the new year.

When a client calls to say her book just hit the Amazon Best Seller list, you clear your schedule and make it happen.

Meet Janet Wise. She’s a total gem. We first met a few years ago during my 50/50 Project, and we’ve been connected ever since. When she called to share everything that’s been unfolding in her life, I could feel the excitement through the phone. Watching someone step into their moment like this is beautiful and im so honored she chose me to help document it!

This is hands down one of my favorite portraits of 2025. The energy, the confidence, the joy… it’s all there.

Here’s to celebrating women doing incredible things. And Janet, I cant wait to see what the future brings for you!!

My client originally booked a headshot session… but when I saw her in that blazer, I had to have her try on a new necklace I just added to the studio wardrobe (go Free People!) Blazers are the new “quiet sexy”…powerful, confident, feminine without trying and I knew she could own that vibe!

Most people know me for my studio portraits, the styled, glamorous, guided sessions where every detail is thought out. But every now and then, I get the chance to capture moments in a more documentary style way and it lights me up in a whole new way.

This sweet mama reached out because she didn’t want the “perfect” posed family photos. She wanted something real. Photos of them just being a family in their home, in their element, living the everyday moments that matter most.

These moments are powerful!
Studio or living room, my heart is always in the same place…capturing connection, love, and the beauty of real life. 💛
