Parallel 46 - Meat, Passion, and a Feast for the Eyes

When I’m not shooting heavy machinery, I’m chasing epic flavors at Parallel 46 in Cormorant, MN. Their chef’s obsession with meat gave me three plates to turn into art. With gritty angles and bold light, these shots scream flavor. Best part? Devouring those award-winning dishes after the shoot.

Know a kitchen with this kind of fire? Let’s capture their story.

What dish makes your mouth water?

| 1/16" from the Edge, 100% from the Heart

- You can’t fake the burn. This is molten focus.

- Axles. Frames. Foundations. Measured in thousandths, held by passion. Every spark is a story. Every weld is a promise.

- This photo is from the frontlines — where fire meets steel, and precision keeps the world rolling.

- I'm honored to capture this kind of work — to the welders who don’t just work a job — they build our world!

- Celebrating 2025 National Welding Month.

Sitting down with something real.

- Not just a screen, not just a scroll—but a printed portfolio. Tangible, textured, full of grit and heart.

- Today it’s not just about showcasing photos—it’s about sharing stories, forming new connections, and building friendships that last a lifetime. These pages hold more than images; they carry the weight of early mornings on muddy fields, the laughter between coworkers, the quiet pride in a job well done.

- This isn't just work—it's what happens when you combine trust, timing, and a deep respect for the people behind the machines.

- Thanks to everyone who sat across the table with me and invited me to tell their story. Here's to more chapters ahead.

- Let’s build something real together.

BOBCAT POWER MEETS LAST NIGHT'S STORM

No excuses. No second thoughts. Just raw power ripping through the night. The Bobcat CT2540 doesn’t wait for the weather to play nice—it dominates it.

Blizzard? Handled.

Heavy lifting? Bring it on.

Big jobs? Big boy’s toy.

When the world slows down, this beast shifts into high gear. Ready to take on whatever comes next.

The Big Picture: Grit Behind the Lens

Late flight from Philly to Columbus—chasing a sunrise like it owed me money. Turbulence tried to shake me off, but I held on. Rolled out before dawn, flashlight in hand, looking like a budget horror movie leading actor.

4 AM. Knees in the dirt. Low angle locked—f/16 dialed in for that sunburst under the Prinoth Crawler Carrier’s bumper. Flames roaring, smoke thick enough to make a barbecue jealous, embers floating around like fireflies with bad intentions. Tall grass swaying, evergreens standing guard, and me? Just a guy trying not to inhale a forest.

Years of grinding—mastering light and lenses and making questionable life choices—led to this moment. I took the shot. Machine meets wildfire, sunrise seals the deal, and I go home smelling like a campfire.

What’s your go-to shooting hour? I’m a sunrise ju**ie. Got a story worth framing? Let’s talk—snail mail, smoke signals, traditional texts, emails, or calls.

Happy National Ag Day! Here’s to the farmers and ranchers—muddy boots, tough hands, and all—who grind daily to keep us fed. I’m stoked to haul my camera across fields and barns, capturing the grit that fuels our tables. Ag’s not just food; it’s soul, hustle, and home. Cheers to the dirt and dreams that nourish us!

Not Every Shot Makes the Cut—But Every Shot Has a Story.

Some moments come together in a way that feels almost too perfect—the right light, the right movement, the right history woven into a single frame. This image wasn’t selected, but to me, it still tells a story worth sharing.

The horse—traded after years of hard-earned experience.

Wade—carrying every lesson learned from a lifetime in the saddle.

The cattle—moving in unexpected ways, forcing instinct to take over.

The straps on the saddle—worn from the miles, holding more than just leather together.

It’s these details that make the shot feel real, even if it wasn’t what the client was looking for. Because sometimes, it’s not just about capturing a scene—it’s about capturing the unseen.

Would love to hear—what stands out to you in this moment?

A Year of Growth, A Lens of Impact.

2025 is here, and as I look back on a year full of turns and personal growth, I'm reminded of why I do what I do. Last year, I set big goals—for both life and work.

This year, I'm more excited than ever to capture stories that matter. One of the most powerful moments from last year was documenting the bravery of the South Carolina Forestry Commission as they battled wildfires, using Prinoth’s cutting-edge machinery. It was an honor to freeze moments of their dedication in time—capturing the real heroes behind the machines.

With the new year in full swing, I'm ready to bring my camera to wherever your story needs to be told. February is open and I’m ready today for new adventures, and I’m excited to collaborate. If you have a vision you want to bring to life, let's talk!

Here’s to the journey ahead—whether it's in far-off places or the stories unfolding in our own backyards. Let’s create something unforgettable.

Lights, Sirens, Action: Honoring Ambulance Responders

Racing against time, ambulance responders are often the unsung heroes of our communities. Their quick thinking and compassion make all the difference.

Did you know the average ambulance call response time is less than 10 minutes in Fargo-Moorhead? That’s a testament to their dedication!

What do you think? How can we continue to support and recognize these everyday heroes? Let’s spark a conversation about their impact.

To the EMTs and paramedics working tirelessly, you’re the heartbeat of emergency care—thank you for keeping us safe.

If you or someone you know is looking for fresh visuals that stand out, let’s connect. Together, we can shine a spotlight on the people who make a difference every day.
