I hope everyone is enjoying the start to their 2021 so far! I have been having a blast meeting with couples, and talking about their Wedding Days!
My summer 2021 dates are filling up, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be able to share in the celebration of the amazing couples I have been able to meet over the past couple months!

Whenever I am meeting and working with a couple for the first time, I always do my best to capture their personalities as much as possible.
In the case of Rachael and Christopher, their personalities were amazing! It didn’t take long for the constant joking and laughter to take over our time together!
No matter what is going on in the world find time to laugh and enjoy moments of life!

Everyday is an adventure with the right person! Make time to be spontaneous and unpredictable, dance randomly and laugh uncontrollably!
A lot of times when I am shooting an engagement session, I run into couples who are shy at first when it comes to being on camera. We do a few different things to help everyone become more comfortable, we switch roles sometimes and have each other do over dramatic in whatever I ask them to try, and within a couple minutes everyone is usually laughing and images like this start to come to life!
Don’t wait to capture special moments with your favorite person. Live in the moment, and don’t worry about the past.

The special moments that we share with each other are what ultimately help shape our lives and who we are as individuals. Surround yourself with people who make you laugh, love and live your complete and genuine life.
Taylor and Tyler were so much fun to work with, between random dogs showing up int he middle of taking pictures, to adventures throughout the afternoon, their engagement session was truly something special!
I absolutely loved how their images came out and couldn’t be more thrilled with my time over in Chico!

Happy almost New Year! 2021 is going to have so much to look forward to and I can’t wait to share it with all of you! We have tons of weddings, engagements and some other big projects that will be taking place over the next year!
Tomorrow is a new day and a new year, let’s make the most of this year and celebrate to the fullest. Don’t forget to take in the little moments that seem to make the problems of the world fade away. This year is yours, make the absolute most of it!

How crazy is it that we are “already” at the end of 2020?! We have been through so much this year, but one thing has been consistent, the people we go through it all with.
The best part of my job is that I get to help celebrate two people coming together and deciding to spend the rest of their lives together! Engagement sessions are so much fun when you have a couple like Marisa and DJ!
We shot Marisa and DJ’s Engagement Session in beautiful Emerald Bay! You absolutely can not beat these views! I am so excited to join them for their wedding this summer!

Never stop having fun! I know it sounds simple, but making time to be carefree and spend time with the people you care about is critical. Especially with the state of the world!
These two are so much fun to be around! We spent our time telling corny jokes and enjoying our time in Tahoe!
Being able to help make people comfortable in front of the camera is a special part of my job. Watching people grow more and more comfortable and feel right at home as we spent time together is exhilarating, and comes down to being able to connect with each other!

Emily and Zach are one of my favorite couples that I have gotten to know! They are genuine and driven to accomplish their goals, and are so kind!
During their last session we laughed, shared inside jokes and ultimately had a blast while capturing their love for one another.
I got to work with them for the first time last winter, then again this year. It is really humbling to watch people grow and help capture moments to share with family and friends!
