There was a season when picking up my camera didn’t feel like coming home anymore.

After going through some major health struggles, I found myself battling something I never expected—brain fog. Things that once felt natural suddenly felt foreign. I had to relearn how to think through a session, how to see light, how to find the little details that used to come so easily to me.

And honestly… it was frustrating. There were days I wondered if the photographer I used to be was gone.

But slowly, little by little, I started finding her again. ❤️

I started trusting my eye. Trusting my creativity. Trusting the gift God gave me.

I’m not the same photographer I was before that season—and I don’t think I’m supposed to be. I’ve grown, I’ve changed, and I’ve learned to appreciate this gift in a completely different way.

So if you’ve noticed me finding my way back, thank you for being here. Thank you for trusting me with your memories while I was learning to trust myself again.

This camera means more to me now than it ever has. 📷🤍

Here’s to finding your way back to the things you love… even when the road back takes a little longer than you expected.
