I had the best time during this senior session! I have known this senior for a long time and I love her adventurous and thoughtful spirit. We were amazed by so many trees in full bloom, accidentally stumbled upon a magical field of lupines and ended the session with the most magnificent sunset. It felt like the earth was smiling upon her. 🙃

Sometimes I leave a session feeling like I spent the morning hanging out with friends. This was one of those sessions. I left feeling so filled up, my mouth hurting from laughter. And I had a good feeling it would be that way from the initial inquiry. They reached out to me because they wanted to capture the warmth and whimsy of their home and the life they have built together, complete with her mom and all of their goats, chickens and dogs! I love working with families who live with such authenticity and intention. I think you can see in these photos how easy it was to capture the beauty of the life they have created together. 💛

(Also, I think my new calling is in goat photography.)

I'm excited to offer half sessions again this fall! I love the challenge that half sessions present to me as a photographer and the way that every single 20 minute session is completely different than the one before, depending on each family's personality. In all of my sessions, my goal is to capture moments of playfulness, connection and authenticity and the challenge comes from being able to do this in an extremely short amount of time. I am also very passionate about quality photography being financially accessible to every family and half sessions feel like a good way to help make this possible.
