Awesome surprise visit to Paradox Beer Company in Divide last night.

I had tasted their excellent American wild & sour ales from the bottle shop before but had not put much thought into their location. A quick trip through Divide changed that and a stop in the tasting room was mandatory.

Everything we tasted was excellent from the IPL, unfiltered amber and various mixed mermentation varieties. We even picked up a few cans and bottles to go.

Tasters and cocktails at Elkins Distilling. Loved my Mule but the real star was the cherrywood smoked Old Fashioned @ Elkins Distilling Co.

Tasting flight at Elkins Distilling in Estes Park. They start with 100 proof clear and barrel age from there. The straight up Colorado Whisky and Mission Fig infusion were my favorites @ Elkins Distilling Co.

Finally visited Tivoli Brewing Company, in the historic Tivoli building in downtown Denver. The original brewery was the first in Colorado and second oldest in the nation behind Yuengling until its closure in 1969. Now revived and serving a number of classic brews like their German Dunkel pictured here
