"Love your body"

This quote is perfect and to be honest perfect for this image. To really think on the subject, I know this is unattainable for so many of us. Can you honestly say you truly love your body? Your whole body? Not just certain parts of it, but your whole self? It's ok if you can't, but, it doesn't make you any less. I am amazed by the self-love movement , but it can really place a lot of pressure on us to feel like we should love every inch of ourselves, and honestly I don't think that should be the goal. I feel the goal should be more about accepting yourself and being kinder to yourself. To be able to look in the mirror and not tear yourself down or apart. Knowing it's okay for any of the changes to your body that happen in life. Knowing this changes are a part of your story and accepting those changes.

For me, self-acceptance is greater than self-love. I accept my body, flaws and all for what it has done for me. For the story it tells. I want to give it the care it deserves and the kindness I give to others. I want to stop seeing just flaws and see a whole person. No one is looking at each individual flaw, they see me as a whole, as I see them. So why is it so hard for us to see ourselves in whole?!?

My Story

Living in the small town of New Oxford, Pa, I am the mother of two amazing children and married to the most amazing man there is. He didn’t even complain when I turned his man-cave into my studio. Okay...well maybe he complained a little, lol.

My own family fuels my drive in my business. This makes capturing life’s moments even more meaningful to me and allows me to proudly say with satisfaction, I am the Owner and Photographer of Chrissy Smith Photography. Capturing life’s moments for clients in the Central Pennsylvania and surrounding area.

Inspired by life, my goal is to always capture your special moments. Creating photographic memories of moment’s in time that showcase who you and your family are in that specific time.
