When I first started getting serious about video marketing, I was contracted by Schurman Retail Group - Papyrus about five years ago to create a short, recap video of an artist event they held at one of their stores in sunny Southern California. This event surrounded a wonderful artist named Bella Pilar who was the main attraction. Her art is used on a variety of products that Papyrus sells, including greeting cards and gift bags. This was one of the first big steps in my video production career because I had no prior experience creating a marketing video on this level before.
I just wanted to say thank you to the SRG family for giving me the opportunity to work on something so special, while enhancing my vision on what was possible with my craft in video. I have come a long way since then, and I owe a ton of it to this specific project, which inspired me to work even harder on what I love to do.
