This is 44!! Feeling a lot of feelings right now, what a great freakin' week for a birthday. I'm sensing that there will be a shift this year, someway, somehow, and I can hug people again. Even this introvert is missing crowds 😂 I'm definitely missing shooting, and missing the families I've come to see on a yearly basis. I can't wait to see you all 🤗

I've also been getting clear intuition that it's time to stop hiding behind my pictures and start engaging more. My work is only one facet of me, and it's been interesting to look at what I'm putting out as a direct reflection of what's been going on in my life. I'm gravitating to showing more joyful and high key images in the future, though I will always love and still post my emo low key moodiness 😂 But as I've been wading through a lot of my own healing, I feel lighter these days, even with everything going on. And I know this will impact how I shoot and what I show. So we'll see how this goes! In any case, I felt my birthday today is a good day to say HIIII and share this evolving consciousness of mine as I grow as a human and a photographer.

Wow, 2020! What a ride. I'm so grateful for the families that have ventured out to shoot with me this year. There's been a new layer of poignance in connecting, albeit from afar, and still creating together. It's been so good for my soul! It's hard to know what 2021 has in store for us, in fact it's hard to know from day to day! But if this year has taught us anything it's to be present, to surrender to the flow, and really be grateful for what we have. I'm truly grateful for the support of my small photography business, and for the collective effort in finding the ways to make it work through this interesting time. So for Small Business Saturday I'm offering deals on my 2021 Sessions and custom Gift Certificates for the holidays! Sessions for 2021 booked between today and next Friday, 12/4, will receive $250 off my regular pricing - this discount is good for Gift Certificates as well for the holidays!
