I’ve just blended a new tea exclusive for Cup & Crown that I’m calling “Lady Grey’s Garden”: black tea infused with bergamot orange and vanilla, balanced with lavender and splashes of blue cornflower, gold calendula, and pink rose petals. Tell me this isn’t the prettiest tea blend you’ve ever seen! What’s more, how it looks has nothing on how it smells and tastes… it’s truly happiness in a cup.

I’ll be serving Lady Grey’s Garden at the Workhouse Arts Center “Tea and Tour” this Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Come learn about the role tea played in women’s valiant fight for the right to vote while enjoying a selection of teas & treats, followed by a tour of the Lucy Burns Gallery and Lorton’s historic jail.

Join me for EQUALITY-TEA hosted by the Lorton Prison Museum, featuring the Lucy Burns. Enjoy my special tea service while you learn how suffragists used tea for planning and fundraising. The program concludes with a guided tour of the museum, featuring the exhibit of the suffragists who were imprisoned at the Workhouse in 1917.

Early bird tickets ($39) available before September 25, 2025. Regular tickets ($45) on sale until noon on Friday , October 24, 2025.
