I'm Colleen Hilliker- a Northern Virginia based, Maryland born & raised, photographer and educator. Photography has been a part of my life for quite some time! My first real experience was in high school, shooting with my parent's 1980's Nikon film camera (and I'm still a Nikon girl to this day). When I went to college I majored in Photography but felt drawn to my love for sharing my knowledge thr

ough teaching. So I ultimately became an art teacher where I get the opportunity to foster a love for the arts in future generations. While teaching photography and art for over 10 years has been very fulfilling, I can't wait to get back to creating images myself! I adore working with others to create something that makes them feel special!
