Part of our trip to Ireland was spent for me to attend a 5 day wood turning workshop at Glenn Lucas Wood Turning School. What a great experience. Along with seven other students from England, Germany, Denmark and the USA. We learned new techniques for turning so our final bowls are more beautiful than ever. Along with the five 8 hour class sessions we got to know the other students and had a few ( or more ) pints of Guinness in the pub/Hotel we were staying at. So much fun for all. Here is a nearly completed bowl, our class members with our finished projects and Glenn Lucas with his lovely wife Cornelia. As an add note Cornelia made a wonderful full lunch for us each day and every one was delicious.
