Nick & Jamie │ 5.9.2026

Some weddings just feel a little different when it’s your own family in front of the camera. 🤍

Watching a cousin I grew up alongside marry the love of his life, gaining someone we’re so grateful to officially call family, and witnessing the beautiful little family they’ve created together made this day incredibly special.

Every part of the day felt so personal, from invitations custom-made by the best man, to his father being the one to marry them, to her daughter standing beside her as maid of honor. There was so much family woven into every little detail.

From the joy and laughter to all of the emotions in between, getting to preserve these memories from my point of view while experiencing them right alongside everyone I love made this one especially meaningful. A beautiful day at such a beautiful venue, and I truly couldn’t be happier for them and this next chapter together. 🫶

Shelby + Josh, looking like they stepped right into a scene from The Notebook. 🤍

Romantic, cinematic, and still completely them. The kind of moments that feel like they could belong in a film.

Getting these two in front of my camera was the sweetest little preview of what’s to come. I couldn’t be more excited to capture their wedding next May and tell the next chapter of their story. 🕊️

A little quiet over here lately… and for all the best reasons. 🤍

This summer has looked a little different on here. There’s been plenty happening behind the scenes- shooting, editing, delivering galleries, and pouring so much into the families and couples in front of my camera, but this season has also reminded me how important it is to fully unplug when I can, soak in the slower days, and be present with the people I love.

Between some much-needed vacations, quality time with family, making memories, and simply enjoying the downtime that doesn’t come around very often, sharing lots of my sessions has taken a bit of a back seat. So while it’s been quieter on here, life and work certainly haven’t been.

That being said, I have quite a bit of catching up to do… so let’s take it back to late spring with the Becks. They found me through one of my past clients, and getting to meet new families through the kind words of people I’ve photographed will truly never stop meaning so much to me. 🥹

From the moment I arrived, they were so welcoming and made documenting their family feel easy and natural. We spent the evening exploring their home, laughing, and documenting their family in the spaces where everyday life happens. Such a sweet session and an even sweeter family to meet. 🫶

There is something so special about photographing friends as they step into a new chapter you’ve been lucky enough to witness firsthand.

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is being invited into seasons like this. When it’s dear friends, it feels even more meaningful. 🤍

Watching them settle into life as a family of three (plus two very proud fur siblings!) was such a joy. A little boy who is already so loved, two parents completely smitten with him, and all the little moments that make this time uniquely theirs.

Love this family so much. 🫶

One year.
365 days of firsts.

The first smiles, first steps, first words — and all the quiet moments in between that end up meaning just as much. The way they reach for your hand. The way they rest their head on your shoulder when they’re tired. The familiar rhythm your family has already created together in just one short year.

That’s what I love most about documenting milestones this way. Not just the birthday itself, but the feeling of this season as a whole! The connection, the movement, and the in-between moments that tell your family’s story. ✨

Capturing this sweet family is always such a joy. For this session, we returned to the same field where we photographed Ava’s newborn photos- a place close to their family home and filled with special memories. There’s something so meaningful about revisiting these places and seeing just how much can change in the blink of an eye. 🤍

Ending Mother’s Day reflecting on how thankful I am for the families and mothers I’ve had the honor of capturing over the years! 🤍

Whether today brought joy, reflection, gratitude, remembrance, peace, or simply a quiet Sunday, I hope you were able to slow down and appreciate the beauty around you. I know this day can hold so many different emotions and meanings for different people, and my heart is with all of you in whatever this day looked like.

There’s something so special about documenting these seasons of life and all the love that exists within them. Watching your families grow year after year, seeing familiar faces return, and meeting new families along the way is something I never take for granted. I’m endlessly appreciative of every single one of you who trusts me to preserve these memories for your families. 🥹✨

Sharing so many more photos via story. 🫶

Even during the colder winter months, my photography calendar was still filled with the sweetest sessions like this one. I got to spend many days inside cozy homes, documenting families in such a natural and meaningful way. There’s just something about the warmth of in-home sessions that I love so much — slower moments, genuine connection, and memories being made in the spaces that mean the most to them.

It was such a pleasure meeting this sweet family and getting to spend time with them in this season of life. Truly, what a joy it is to be welcomed into people’s homes and trusted to capture moments like these. 🤍

Life has been life-ing lately, but in the best way. 🤍

A lot has been happening both personally and professionally, and I’ve just been fully in it… soaking it all up.

Excited to be back sharing everything I’ve been working on and loving lately, starting with this sweet family.

I first captured them as a family of three… then again during this in-home session while they were expecting their second little love. And tonight, I got to walk back into their home to capture their newborn session—with their newest addition finally here. 🥹

There’s something so special about being invited back into your lives over and over again. Watching your families grow and trusting me to document these chapters is something I’ll never take for granted. So grateful!
