Ending Mother’s Day reflecting on how thankful I am for the families and mothers I’ve had the honor of capturing over the years! 🤍

Whether today brought joy, reflection, gratitude, remembrance, peace, or simply a quiet Sunday, I hope you were able to slow down and appreciate the beauty around you. I know this day can hold so many different emotions and meanings for different people, and my heart is with all of you in whatever this day looked like.

There’s something so special about documenting these seasons of life and all the love that exists within them. Watching your families grow year after year, seeing familiar faces return, and meeting new families along the way is something I never take for granted. I’m endlessly appreciative of every single one of you who trusts me to preserve these memories for your families. 🥹✨

Even during the colder winter months, my photography calendar was still filled with the sweetest sessions like this one. I got to spend many days inside cozy homes, documenting families in such a natural and meaningful way. There’s just something about the warmth of in-home sessions that I love so much — slower moments, genuine connection, and memories being made in the spaces that mean the most to them.

It was such a pleasure meeting this sweet family and getting to spend time with them in this season of life. Truly, what a joy it is to be welcomed into people’s homes and trusted to capture moments like these. 🤍

Life has been life-ing lately, but in the best way. 🤍

A lot has been happening both personally and professionally, and I’ve just been fully in it… soaking it all up.

Excited to be back sharing everything I’ve been working on and loving lately, starting with this sweet family.

I first captured them as a family of three… then again during this in-home session while they were expecting their second little love. And tonight, I got to walk back into their home to capture their newborn session—with their newest addition finally here. 🥹

There’s something so special about being invited back into your lives over and over again. Watching your families grow and trusting me to document these chapters is something I’ll never take for granted. So grateful!

We started in the city and let the light guide us, ending by the waterfront as everything softened, with the evening feeling easy and intentional through movement, quiet moments, and genuine connection.

Present with each other in a way that made everything else fade out.

Getting to capture this season for Grace and Matt, as very close friends, and having so much fun doing it, means more than I can say. 🤍

Still smiling thinking about all the beautiful families who came out for Christmas minis this year — so many familiar faces, new faces, and moments that made this season truly special.

Thank you to every family who showed up, shared their time with me, and trusted me with your holiday memories. Being invited into your traditions in this small but meaningful way is something I never take lightly!

After photographing this family during their maternity season, I later had the opportunity to document their baby girl, Ava, during her early days. The quiet, unhurried moments — when everything is still new and settling — are always a privilege to witness. This family is as sweet as they come, and being trusted again to capture this season means so much. A full-circle moment. 🫶

There’s something special about photographing a couple like Nicole & JJ — the kind of session where the laughter is easy, the energy is light, and everything unfolds on its own. The kind where you forget you’re “working” because it genuinely feels like spending the night with two people you’ve known forever. By the end I was like… should we just do this again next week? 🫶

They fall into moments together so effortlessly — the quick glances, the in-between calm, the way they can make each other laugh without thinking. Getting to document this chapter already means so much, and I can’t wait to continue capturing their story, come this June!
