Camera body: Sony A7RII
Lens: sigma 24mm f1.4
For crispy still with 0 motion blur the shutter must be set 1/400 or higher. With that being said. That means shutter manipulation isn’t a viable variant you can adjust to achieve a crispy stills during live performance.
This body is starting to outlive standard production value. The introduction of noise begins at 1200 ISO. Since I know this I can help myself in camera settings. Set ISO limit in the setting and turning the auto iso on. This gives one less thing to worry about when working in a high pace moment. Yeah it’s nice to have the best tools offered. But I think it’s far more valuable to know your tools well enough to know the limitations and have a game plan that allows you to produce at a level you deemed “professional.”
