When someone asks me what I do for a living, it’s tempting to simply respond with: photographer. 📸 But I know deep down that doesn’t encompass the results I get for my clients! Really, I should say I’m a visual storyteller, a time stopper. ⏳

Amidst all the reasons we have to be joyful, many of us really struggle this time of year. Maybe it’s your first Christmas without a loved one. I can certainly relate. But while we all grieve at times—we can all help, too. This year, I’m sending a local family to Great Wolf Lodge for a night to try and spread a little cheer.

How do you give a little extra this time of year?

Is everyone staying toasty out there? Temperatures are dropping from coast to coast, but just as I was about to throw on my favorite cozy puffer, this client review came through and warmed my heart.

"I have been trying to think of what I should say....I have had a major transformation over the last year. I lost 150lbs and there are a couple of things I want to say about that! First, I am 45 years old and I didn’t think it was possible to lose the weight but it did it. Second, I was terrified of what my body would look like after such a drastic loss but I was so proud of what I did that I wanted to book a session with Lindsey and OWN MY BODY. I did the session with a friend (I highly recommend this as it is inspiring and fun and just everything to experience with a friend). I did the session for me BUT I am going to gift part of the amazing package to my husband this Saturday for our anniversary and I can’t wait to see how he reacts. I was so comfortable during the shoot because Lindsey is amazing. She knows how to position you in the most flattering way and she just makes you feel like a gorgeous bad ass. I have never had professional pictures done and to have this be my first experience will make any future photos a little boring! 😂😂😂"

One of mine...taking my girls on a 'Christmas Cruise' through the neighborhoods in town looking for houses that are all decked out in lights. My Grandparents used to drive us around West Seattle when we'd spend the night at their house around the Holidays and doing it with my girls always brings back all the feels! 🎄🎅🤶
