As a photographer I always photograph & share everyone else’s memories!

I tend to forget to photograph my own moments, but I’ve been trying to really slow down and not only be in the moment… but capture them so we can look back at them for years to come. Nothing fancy, just with my phone.

As I’ve been reflecting on my recent work, I knew I had to start by sharing Christine and Andrew’s special day.

While I’ve already posted some of their beautiful wedding photos, I never got around to sharing their tea ceremony. It was such a meaningful experience, a beautiful tradition that brought two families and cultures together.

When Christine asked me to capture the tea ceremony along with the wedding, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I said yes right away. I did my homework, asked questions, and hoped everything would go smoothly.

On the day of, I was welcomed with so much warmth by their family and friends. I did my best to stay out of the way while capturing every special moment. It was truly heartwarming, and I’m beyond grateful they trusted me to document it.

I hope to capture more moments like this. It’s so beautiful to witness the love and connection that brings families together 🥹
