HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY, PRESIDENT CARTER.

The year was 1983. I was doing my thing as a country music photographer in Nashville. One ofmy gigs was shooting for Lee Greenwood's first TourBook at the CMA annual awards ceremony. I shadowed Lee well into the morning hours and met and photographed Lee with a number of country music legends that night after he won the "Newcomer of the Year" award. One of those was Kris Kristofferson. He was the first person had met that had a true "aura." When he entered the room, the whole scene changed. Yesterday, he died. The world lost a true artist. This is hard for me to publish since it seems so boastful. The term "Hero" is over the top for sure. But I do want to thank Randy Vaal, VP of Southwest Indiana Citizens for Quality of Life for the nomination. I do find it interesting that this has not been reported (too my knowledge, at least) in any local media. This post is from The Ferdinand News.

FROM BEGINNING TO END...
I was fortunate enough to be hired to do construction progress aerials for Novak Construction who served as the general contractor for the new Costco at Oak Grove and I-69. ON A CLEAR DAY. Air quality has improved significantly over the last decade as new Federal initiatives have been implemented. BlairPhotoEVV has long been an advocate of improved air quality for health, aesthetic and, of course, my ability to do aerial photography in the region.
