Last day of Florida vacation, got stranded with some car trouble, but mother nature didn't let us sit in the sun for long

Once again blessing us with another GORGEOUS shelf cloud from a nearby system! I saw a few others who got incredibly shots by the ocean of this one. But I'm glad we still had a good view all things considered!

My first time EVER in Florida and the coast line is absolutely not disappointing! Got a couple beautiful sunset pictures on the beach, and a GORGEOUS shelf cloud that was waiting for us the moment we arrived in Florida.

I've seen my fair share of shelf clouds, but man does it hit different by the ocean 🙂‍↕️

A girl can't hear about storms and not go after them, even while on vacation! This one had a marine statement out for waterspouts, something I have been DYING to see for myself! It didn't happen, but I still got to enjoy some storms and be in my "element" for a minute!🌴

Showers are still continuing to move north/northeast. There is currently a severe warning/tornado warning in the area of Sharon Grove or west of Lewisburgh KY. That storm will continue northeast towards Morgantown, KY. Along with that, there's another special weather statement out for the area of Morgantown, KY for 40 MPH winds.

Localized flash flooding is still expected with the heavier bands of rain, especially in low-lying and flood prone areas. So make sure to stay aware especially if you're out driving this evening/tonight!

After a strong storm pushed through the city, causing multiple power outages, and moderate tree damage:

Sirens once again blair through the city of Evansville as another strong strong storm targets Vanderburgh country and surrounding areas

Me and Storm chaser Andrea Arrasmith set out to intercept what we could shortly after.

HAIL CORE HUNT DOWN!

As the MCS plowed into us head on, me and Storm chaser Andrea Arrasmith rode out Multiple waves of heavy hail. Up to half dollar sized hail fell during both of these intercepts. And definitely gained a few new dents on the Suburban! This storm would go on to cross the Wabash River into indiana, and rapidly fall apart, Before passing away in South Eastern Indiana.

GOING GREEN!

Me and Storm chaser Andrea Arrasmith set out to chase the suddenly stronger severe weather setup in the Ohio valley. We chased this MCS as it formed and briefly became tornadic in central Illinois. By this time, it had turned into a bit of a hailer. Check these shots out that we got as we Positioned ourselves ahead of it.

The green coloring in the clouds is a key indicator of the INTENSE updraft this storm had. We went on to get a decent intercept on this hail core, which will be posted soon!

SNEAKY SUNSET!

Such a relaxing end to the day. Me and Storm chaser Andrea Arrasmith grabbed some dinner and enjoyed the cool temperatures as we got a front row seat to the sunset. As we were getting lost in conversation, the sun gave us one final peak over the tree line before nightfall settled around us. Couldn't have asked for a better evening 😌❤️

A sorta rare Dust Storm Warning is now in effect in central Illinois! Blowing dust can cause major visibility issues. Drive with EXTREME CAUTION!

We are getting reports of a dust storm along I-55 near Divernon, IL and along HWY 104 near Auburn. Please take caution if driving!
