Let’s be honest. Most people dread getting their headshot taken. It usually feels stiff, awkward, and forced. But it doesn't have to be. Look at Cory absolutely crushing his session across three completely different vibes.

My philosophy is simple. We’re going to blast some good music, laugh a lot, and completely skip the awkward "grade school portrait" energy. I make the process fun and relaxed, but when it comes to the lighting, composition, and final polish? I don’t mess around. High quality is the standard.

Motherhood is a beautiful contradiction.
It’s chaos and tenderness.
Exhaustion and joy.
Holding everything together while quietly wondering if you’re doing enough.

To the moms who spend their days pouring into everyone else… this is your reminder that the love you give matters more than perfection ever could. Your children will remember the way you made them feel safe, seen, and loved.

As a photographer, one of the greatest honors is freezing these moments in time — the tiny hands wrapped around your neck, the messy laughter, the in-between moments you don’t realize are the memories your children will treasure forever.

I was having a heart-to-heart recently about how we built our businesses before social media.
No websites. No algorithms. No shortcuts.
Just word of mouth.
And honestly? That matters.
Because in a world where creative markets feel saturated and where someone will always charge less or be more available,the real difference isn’t pricing or trends.
It’s how people feel when they work with you.
That’s always been my foundation.
My clients become friends. They come back. They trust me. And they send their people to me.

That kind of growth doesn’t come from an algorithm—it comes from connection.

Why do you keep seeing me post about my experience as a photoshoot stylist?

I love the behind-the-scenes magic.
The planning.
The curating.
The location scouting.
The tiny details most people don’t see, but always feel in the final image. Every time I lean into styling a shoot, I think through the wardrobe, the textures, the setting, the story. It pushes my work as a photographer further than I ever thought it could go. The images become more intentional, more layered, more alive.

And that’s why I keep talking about being a photoshoot stylist.

I know not every photographer or creative director loves that part. Some people have incredible ideas, but don’t have the time, the energy, or the creative bandwidth to pull all the pieces together. That’s where I come in.

I love being the person you can bounce ideas off of, the one who can take a concept living in your head and turn it into something tangible.
Let me run with it.
Let me connect the dots.
Let me obsess over the details so you can focus on what you do best.

For me, styling isn’t separate from photography, it enhances it and when I can take that weight off someone else’s shoulders, when I can help bring their vision fully to life, that’s just as rewarding as pressing the shutter.
