I kept my personal and professional life separate in 2023, I just was not sure how I wanted to navigate it and I did squeeze in time for photos anytime I could because I missed it, wanted to, and it helped me. But I need to be upfront with clients and potential clients about the current status and why I cannot take on any weddings, or sessions at this time. My faith, health, & family are at the forefront of my focus right now. I will be back to photos in the future and I have a little project in mind for where I am right now that will give me an outlet to still do what I love but provide something for those interested.
I started a blog and it is through my website, called Ambient Light. That is a photography term, but it also means natural light. I have a heart for Jesus and what he is doing in my life - while I walk this journey with Cancer as a mom, wife, and someone who never had any medical needs before this diagnosis, and I just feel it needs to be shared.
