Outdoor family session.

I need a moment to point out how little miss was hitting every pose!! I gave her some tips and - oh, did she shine!

Then on the flip side little man wanted absolutely nothing to do with the photos. Haha. But we leaned into it and now there’s a memory of ‘that one time when…’. Peep the last shot. He’s looking like some marble carved Greek god.

I adore family sessions when reality shows through. There’s something special when people feel safe to express how they feel in a moment. Let’s embrace it and work with it, instead of against it. 🫶🏻

The contest that jumpstarted my career is in action again!! If you have some great images that fit in their category’s, submit em! I have had an absolute blast with the path this image submission has taken me.

Calling all photographers 📸

Photograph DTEVV - Downtown Evansville’s Photography Contest - is back! Photographers (from novice to professional) are invited to submit their photos of Downtown Evansville. Contest participants will share their take on any of the four categories for submission: People, Place, Architecture and Downtown Evansville Skyline.

We're encouraging new, not previously published photos; and no more than two per category per photographer. Photos must be submitted via email to [email protected] by 11 PM CST Sunday, October 20. A panel of community members and artists will choose 10 finalists from the entries.

The Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District (EID) will have the 10 finalist photos professionally printed and displayed in shops from November 2 – November 18 for public voting. The photo with the most votes will receive a $250 cash prize! The winner will be announced Tuesday, November 19.

Looking through some commercial/marketing photos I’ve taken this year, and I’m very proud of the work I’ve done! I’m excited for what the future holds. Between being an artist, business owning woman, gardener, and soon building my education with business and marketing degrees, I hope to bring more beauty to !

After all… my great (x4) grandfather, John Brazzill Stinson, helped establish Evansville!! I feel it in my bones to continue on what he started.
