So this was shot on my phone but I share it here because I love that of how it shows a glimpse into the personality of my kids ☺️.
My younger son shows all of his emotions in his face and then cakes a little extra on sometimes for effect (I believe this expression was one of true surprise though)😅. My older one finds satisfaction in understanding how things work and loves to manipulate the natural world to create illusions and special effects.
All that we planned was to sing happy birthday to Papa but it’s in the details of how that all went down that made this shot so fun and meaningful!

I’m a creator and lover of color, light, texture and compelling composition. Photography, for me is an extension of life - a way to pause time and recognize the beauty and vitality within it. I find it an incredibly meaningful way to observe, listen and savor lived experiences and memories.

Exciting things in the works here!

As the new year began, I decided it was vital to some reflecting on what truly inspires me about photography. I’ve been shaping a vision for the year ahead—one rooted in creating images that feel like a glimpse into your family’s day to day world.

It is critical for me in my journey as a photographer to focus on a documentary style approach in both family and newborn sessions. I will not be asking anyone to “look at the camera” , “smile” — instead I’ll be there to witness through the viewfinder the life of your family.

Before the session we will take time to discuss activities your family enjoys doing together - from the most mundane to the most extravagant and everything in between and then you’ll select a few of those actives to do during the session. I’ll be a fly on the wall and will document it with intention and care.

My hope is that each session becomes a glimpse into your real life: the beauty, the quirks, the laughter, the tenderness, and the stories that make your family uniquely yours. I’m so excited to go deeper this year—to capture the small details, the connections, and the magic woven into your everyday moments.
Currently I’m working on a new website and packages that reflect this vision so stay tuned!

For those who have worked with my in the past an still want a couple shots of everyone looking at the camera I can still do that but my intention for each session will be more to document your family’s personality through play, exploration and activies together.
