WE MADE IT! 🎉 ⁣

The last 6 weeks have felt like a whirlwind, a rollercoaster, and a tornado of emotions all at the same time. With six different weddings and plenty of sessions in between, we’ve been pretty busy in this house the last month and a half. We wanted to say thank you to all our clients who have been patient, gracious, and so much fun the past six weeks. As another human, I love my job, but this time of year is always crazy! ⁣
⁣
While we have a small break from weddings, the fun isn’t stopping. We have four more sessions this week, and traveling to Detroit, MI for one of them and we can’t wait!! 🎉🚗⁣

We are working diligently on your photos and films and can’t wait for y’all to see your finished products. The actual wedding day is only the beginning for us and post processing is a craft of its own! 🎨 Thank you to all my peeps who we’ve met and became friends with over the last six weeks. I love this industry and all the opportunities it’s brought me. Here is to a great week!

MOOD heading into the weekend! 🎉 ⁣

It’s one of the busiest times of the year for us and we are heading all over the place. 🚗From this amazing couple in Evanston, IL last weekend, to Ft. Wayne, IN tomorrow! Also, often times I get asked what my favorite moment in a wedding day is…well you’re looking at it. 👀 Here’s to another full weekend!

In My Feels Friday 😭⁣

Flashback to my final wedding of July and it was nothing short of beautiful. The bride, Maddi, and her family are all extremely close and the first looks were all emotional. (She even did one with her younger brothers who are twins! 😭) While her dad’s reaction was exactly what every girl dreams of, my favorite part was the tiny, memorable detail her dad included on his tie. A picture of him and Maddi as a newborn. CUE THE TEARS! Swipe to see his reaction!

Brandon & Chelsea’s day had a few “blessings in disguise”, but that didn’t stop them from having the 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫. I think this photo sums up the pure *joy* they both feel when they are together. I can’t wait to share more from their day!

This moment. Right here, kept me from shooting weddings for YEARS. The first kiss. My biggest fear was missing the “𝐢𝐭” moment for my clients. It literally kept me up at night! Now, after shooting weddings consistently for awhile, this moment starts one of my favorite parts of a wedding day. The first kiss and walk( or celebration dance🎉) down the aisle is one of the BEST moments to photograph. It brings me so much JOY. 😭😍⁣
