The other day I was talking to a bride who got married last summer, and she told me she was looking through her wedding photos, trying to find one to use for their Christmas card.

She was a little bummed because there were hardly any photos of her and her husband BOTH just looking at the camera and smiling.

I didn’t shoot their wedding, but this made me think....personally as a wedding photographer, especially in a hectic moment or wedding day time crunch, I’m always trying to rattle off as many romantic and beautiful bride and groom poses I can think of. But that conversation with her is going to challenge me! I’m going to try and make it routine for myself to ask my bride and groom just look at me and smile between every prompt! Just like this!😊💕
