πΊπΈβ€οΈAmerica the Beautiful: Celebrating Diversity in Our Community β€οΈπΊπΈ Meet Cesar and his beautiful wife, Chelsea. Cesar is a local law enforcement officer with a strong passion for helping people. When he's not patrolling and keeping our streets safe, he can be found mentoring cadets at our local police academy. "To me, being an American is all about freedom," he explains. Cesar was born in Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca, Mexico. His parents worked very hard for a long time to be able to immigrate to the United States when he was just 1 year old. It took 7 long years before his family got their citizenship in 2001, right before the 9/11 terrorist attacks. As a young man in 2013, Cesar joined the US Army as an 11B infantryman, where he served for 4 years. In 2015, he was deployed to Iraq, where he ran various missions throughout the reigon. In 2019, Cesar entered into the police academy and became a law enforcement officer for one of our local cities right before the pandemic hit. Chelsea describes Cesar's passion for helping people as one of the many admirable reasons she loves him, "I love how dedicated he is to helping people, whether it's at work or helping the guys at the academy. He always puts his heart into it."
Thank you for your service Cesar! We appreciate you and your passion!
We are so lucky to have such a beautifully diverse culture in our community.
